The Sugar Plum Shop is Children’s of Alabama’s program for in-patients and their families who spend the holidays at the hospital. At Children’s of Alabama, we make sure the magic of the season finds every patient and family who must spend the holidays with us. Parents and caregivers have the opportunity to “shop” (at no cost to them) for their patient and his or her siblings at the Sugar Plum Shop, a toy store we set up right in the hospital. Thanks to the generous support of our donors and community partners, 2022 Sugar Plum Shop served 599 children – 284 patients and 315 siblings!

Toy Donations
We will have one last holiday drop-off scheduled for January 5, 2023 at the Winter Warehouse. Please reach out to sugarplumshop@childrensal.org to schedule a drop-off time.
Monetary donations
Monetary donations are helpful to make sure we are able to provide for all demographics during the holidays!
Volunteers
At this time we are unable to accept outside volunteers inside the Sugar Plum Shop.
